GE Healthcare Interactive Article
While at Giant Spoon, I was asked to design an online article for GE Healthcare in partnership with the MIT Technology Review. The topic of the study was artificial intelligence and its role in humanizing the healthcare industry. In order to appeal to MIT’s core readership, the design approach needed to be subdued enough to engage academics, while remaining provocative enough to attract a general audience. The solution my team and I developed balances GE’s core color palette of blues and greens with the modernist rigor of MIT’s type system. Motion was added in the form of undulating gradients and depth of field shifts. These elements were intended to mirror the visuals one would see on GE’s medical imaging displays, while highlighting the superior detail and clarity they provide. View the project live here.
